Its not a mystery why I am wobbly. I eat . ALOT and often. Portion sizes are made for very small people. Font size 8’s at the most. I am a comfy Times New Roman 12. I know I am not fat, I am just a cuddly big boned chick.
I will never be tiny and petite- my bones will get in the way. For my daughter Amelia, I expect she will face similar challenges.
Before she is old enough to copy me I need to stop eating 5 bowls of pasta and cheese when I am not hungry. I eat until it hurts and then I laugh it off.
While researching how to tackle my biggest issue ( as I currently see it ) I encountered some problems.
1) Eating little and often so you never get hungry enough to overeat. Whoever wrote this did not understand binging. We eat when we are not hungry. Eating often just opens the floodgates to the biccies a little earlier in the day.
2) Drink water to trick your body into feeling full. I drink a litre of water then a loaf of bread. I just feel more bloated..
3) Eat protein first to fill you up. Same issue as problem one.
These tips and many others all don’t address the real cause of binge eating. The little switch in your head that turns off and ignores what the rest of your body is saying.
I hate the people who can have one square of chocolate and not want anymore- but I also envy them.
To not be afraid of food, and of loosing control would be a liberation.
