    LARGE frozen coke-bad

    XL popcorn-bad

    1st dinner-bad

    2nd dinner-worse.

Watching Emma Stone being a babe all glowing skin and shiny hair while I am stufffing my bloated dry spotty face – bad

a emma stone 3 Emma Stone goes blonde... thoughts? (4 photos)

Decided that I have had enough and history shows that once I actually get to the gym and get the endorphins pumping I am addicted – get the “exercise bug”

So have booked a pt session ( that I def cannot afford) tomorrow night with my trainer. I usually just float around the gym not actually breaking a sweat but when I am with Kris she makes each fibre in my body hurt individually. She has learnt not to give me anything that requires several moves together (BURPEES) because I am so severly challenged in the co-ordination area that once I had to fake a knee injury to leave a step class.

Fingers crossed this time tomorrow I will have an excess amount of energy!

Am also setting my alarm for 6.30am for the first time since before I had a baby. Now she sleeps through at night and is in daycare most of the time I have no excuse to grab that extra hour of sleep because I was going through all 10,000 items on the ASOS sale page. Its also not appropriate to continue taking my clean and well dressed child to daycare in my sister and stepdads old trackies with so much panda eye that is actually joining in the middle. Went to Cotton On today ( the home of cheap crap) and brought a basic navy hoody that at least fits me and is clean. Its a start.

    xx

  2. Nausea and Yoga

    July 10, 2012 by Lizi

I’m going to give myself a solid B for effort for last week. I tackled some major life issues ( ginger regrowth, eyebrows and a side fringe) and also started to eat on my meal plan.

But I managed to fail miserably at drinking enough water and doing any form of exercise.Woops

This week I have started strong back on my meal plan, only to be tripped up by a boy bringing over a box full of Donut King. By the time I was onto my second cellphone shaped ( but the size of a home phone) donut I felt so sick but I literaly could not stop. I decided to leave that out of my new “my fitnesspal” diary.

I drove past the gym wearing gym gear yesterday which is also a step in the right direction I feel! I convinced myself that if I came home and watched Geordie Shore on my laptop I would be able to do more squats then at the gym anyway… yeah right.

Got to stay positive though, off to yoga with my friend Mel tonight ( who has lost 2kgs in a week and a half on Ashy Bines) so ill be one of those thin stretchy chicks soon.

    Amen!

  3. Browza!

    July 4, 2012 by Lizi

I have been trying to ignore the fact that big groomed eyebrows are in fashion. My glam  friends Leish and Nads have some of the best eyebrows and feature ratio I have ever seen.

Cosmo told me that the proper eyebrow shape will change you life, if Cosmo says it , it must be true!

As a teenager the combination of some over enthusiastic plucking and a genetic thining of the brow left me with just half of a sour gummy worm above each brow. Most of the time brow mainatance for me is catching my reflection in a harsh light every few weeks and running for the wax strips. I never end up investing in a pen so usually cut out an eyebrow shape from the strips.

With every satisfying strip of wax thats removed some more of my actual eyebrow seems to disappear. today I went to Phoenix Cosmetics and had a brow magic session.

Phoenix Cosmetics use trained make up artists in their salon and rather than just tidy up the strays ( which I usually get professionally done twice a year) they actually look at your eyes and face shape and draw your eyebrows on. This part is terrifying as they pretty much make you look like Brooke Sheilds- and my large features did not require eyebrows that big!

I decided to just go with it and would rather have too much eyebrow than not enough ( we all know that girl!) and sat while she tweezed away.

I then got a light brown brow tint and my usual lash tint.

Afterwards when I looked in the mirror I was so pleased! Actual eyebrows that look like they have been airbrushed on, best money I have ever spent.

Phoenix Cosmetics also do amazing lash extensions for $55!

    Here is their link

If you do want to go to Phoenix- definitely recommend signing up to Flossie.com for daily vouchers. Today my treatment only cost 35 for shape and lash tint and then 25( because of my ginger brows for a brow tint).

  4. Mirror Mirror- Goal 3

    July 2, 2012 by Lizi

My mirror is definitely a fat mirror- a blessing and a curse. Its a great self esteem boost when you catch a glimpse of yourself and you have an instant 10kg weight loss- but that only happens if you can bring yourself to actually leave the house when you think you are an ogre

So my goal this week is to chuck out the fat mirror and invest in a new one. I have also moved the new mirror away from my window ; harsh winter light is never going to do me any favours! I do my make up in the bathroom and then leave the room.

Already I have noticed the difference! The combination of not being thirsty and headachey with dehydration and not being bloated from eating well + not spending hours crying in the mirror are slowly but surely bringing me up!

  5. 30% Protein, 40% Carbs and 30% Fat.

    July 2, 2012 by Lizi

For most women , the numbers on the scales are a thing to be kept secret at any cost. Only my closest friends know what I weigh. When boys ask ( and god do I wish they wouldn’t)! I take at least 7kgs off on the spot and pray they wont question it. At the start of this week I weighed 72.5 kgs. My post pregnancy weight was 78kgs and the lowest I have been is 67kgs pre pregnancy. I’m putting it out there because I hope every day I move further away from that number, and at the end of the 52 weeks I hope it will become irrelevant.

Today is day two of my new food programme. My trainer Kris ( will put her link down below) is amazing, she is one of those super humans who works really hard and has the body to show for it.

I asked for her help in learning to eat in a healthy balanced way after a few months of having her as my personal trainer. I want to know how to control my portion sizes and what it is to look forward to intereasting nutritious meals and not just fill up on bread and pasta.

For the next month Kris will be giving me a meal plan specific to my needs as a gluten free fussy vegetarian and then I will see if I can go it alone.

So far for the first time in my life I have actually kept to a plan! It is 3 meals and a snack each day and I feel full after each one. No cottage cheese on a cruskit or eat every half an hour binge inducing plan here.

Best part so far has been my amazing hotcakes I had for brekkie.

3 eggs,1/3 cup cottage cheese1/4 cup wholemeal flour.

Sounds unappetisingly healthy! Mix it all up chuck some splenda and lemon on top and boom. Actual nice AND healthy brekkie.
