For most women , the numbers on the scales are a thing to be kept secret at any cost. Only my closest friends know what I weigh. When boys ask ( and god do I wish they wouldn’t)! I take at least 7kgs off on the spot and pray they wont question it. At the start of this week I weighed 72.5 kgs. My post pregnancy weight was 78kgs and the lowest I have been is 67kgs pre pregnancy. I’m putting it out there because I hope every day I move further away from that number, and at the end of the 52 weeks I hope it will become irrelevant.
Today is day two of my new food programme. My trainer Kris ( will put her link down below) is amazing, she is one of those super humans who works really hard and has the body to show for it.
I asked for her help in learning to eat in a healthy balanced way after a few months of having her as my personal trainer. I want to know how to control my portion sizes and what it is to look forward to intereasting nutritious meals and not just fill up on bread and pasta.
For the next month Kris will be giving me a meal plan specific to my needs as a gluten free fussy vegetarian and then I will see if I can go it alone.
So far for the first time in my life I have actually kept to a plan! It is 3 meals and a snack each day and I feel full after each one. No cottage cheese on a cruskit or eat every half an hour binge inducing plan here.
Best part so far has been my amazing hotcakes I had for brekkie.
3 eggs,1/3 cup cottage cheese1/4 cup wholemeal flour.
Sounds unappetisingly healthy! Mix it all up chuck some splenda and lemon on top and boom. Actual nice AND healthy brekkie.
